Brewing and Bottling Manager

Following the installation of our bottling line and the winning of several prestigious customer contracts we are looking for an exceptional manager with the skills, drive and vision to support and help expand this rapidly growing company.

Ideally you should have a brewing qualification or relevant experience in a brewing/bottling environment. Willing to ‘roll up your sleeves’, you should be prepared to think on your feet and pro-actively problem solve developing procedures and routines to ensure targets are met and customer expectations satisfied.

Taking full responsibility for the brewing and development of Oxfordshire Ales you should have an eye for detail and be prepared to work hard to maintain the exacting standard of our Ale.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be working as directed by the Managing Director and be responsible for:-

  • All brewing of Oxfordshire Ales ensuring quality standards and volume.

  • The brewing and brewery equipment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and health and safety.

  • Keeping detailed and accurate records and brewing diaries.

  • Leading on the development of seasonal brews and additions to the range.

  • Managing and maintaining stock volumes to ensure orders are met.

  • The running of the bottling line, ensuring smooth running and maintenance.

  • Line management of the bottling team, maintaining rotas to ensure levels of staff match demand.

  • Becoming point of technical contact for contract bottling customers ensuring customer expectations met.

  • Working as a member of the Oxfordshire Ales team and actively support the team in a co operative way that ensures duties and targets are carried out and met at all times.

  • Any other duties as may reasonably be expected.
